Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas

One fast, easy and still best recipe

Ingredients:

4 flours tortillas (8 to 10 inch)
8 oz pizza sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 clove of garlic minced
1 teaspoon parmesan cheese grated
4 slices provolone cheese
2 teaspoons butter softened
Shredded mozzarella cheese
20 slices pepperoni

Preparation

In a bowl combine the butter, minced garlic, parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
Spread the butter mixture over one side of each tortilla and place 2 tortillas buttered side down on grill pan.
Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each tortilla. Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese (not too much) on top of the sauce.
Place 5 pepperoni slices over the mozzarella. Divide the 2 slices of provolone cheese into 8 equal sized pieces and place 4 pieces of top of each tortilla.
Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese on top (not too much again) and place 5 more pepperoni slices.
Top with remaining tortillas buttered side up and cook, over medium heat, for 3-4 minutes on each side until cheese is melted and tortillas are a bit crispy.
Serve with pizza dipping sauce.
